Kentucky Patriots
Hall of Honor
Kentucky Explorers, Pioneers, Soldiers and Settlers-Ne Obliviscarus-Never Forget
Never forget those brave people of European descent who made our heritage and sacrificed themselves in the quest and endured untold hardships to find a better home and a better life across the Western slopes of the Appalachians for the future of their children. Over 2500 were killed in the quest. We are the evidence that the survivors begat. Let us give them respect and honor their lives in return.
Many names are famous and some not so famous, but for them we would not be here to enjoy and preserve the fruits of their labor. Let us give thanks to our forebears so that we can appreciate and enjoy our lives by learning more about who and what they were.
Look for your ancestor below. If not there don’t despair, just send us proof that he was there. If the ancestor’s name is given, then tell us about some distinguishing feat or achievement you believe they should be known for. Revolutionary War Veterans or Patriots are identified by RWV or RWP when known. Try to give us DOB/Location and DOD/Location if known.
