Samuel Tucker
(abt. 1750 - bef. 03 May 1819)
Samuel Tucker was born about
1750 in Sussex Co., Delaware. He served as a Pvt. in Capt.
John Price’s Company of the NC Continental Line (NC Roster
# 3253). His term of service was for a total of 84 months
and he received a 640 acre land grant on 14 Oct 1783.
Samuel migrated to Kentucky in 1784 and purchased 100
additional acres. He received two land grants in Christian
County Kentucky: one for 200 acres of land on Buck Creek on
06 Mar 1799 and another for 60 acres on Pond River on 14
Sep 1807.
Samuel Tucker passed away during 1819 and his Will,
recorded in Christian Co., Ky Will Book C, p. 223, was
probated on 03 May 1819.
